As a Web / UX Designer at Bluehouse Group, you will create high quality design solutions for a variety of clients. Working with a team of designers, developers, and account managers, you will exercise your creative and technical skills in a dynamic collaborative environment.

This is a contractor position. Applicants must provide a portfolio with polished examples of past design work.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with the Creative Director and Project Manager to generate creative
• design solutions across a variety of visual styles to satisfy client requirements.
• High attention to detail throughout all stages of a project to ensure perfect design implementation

Requirements:

• 4+ years of visual design experience
• Ability to code designs in HTML and CSS using web standards
• A broad understanding of user experience in order to solve visual design challenges
• The desire to solve complex design problems
• Expert level knowledge of relevant industry tools
• Savvy communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal team members.
• Ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines on multiple projects
• Experience to set the look and feel for branding

Experienced PHP Developer

As a Web Developer at Bluehouse Group, you will create high quality, custom solutions for a variety of clients. Working with a team of designers, developers, and account managers, you will exercise your creative and technical skills in a dynamic collaborative environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong proficiency in object-oriented PHP and MySQL
• Proven understanding of the MVC design pattern
• Proficiency with source control solutions such as Git or SVN
• Working knowledge of at least one CMS
• Experience working at the command line

GOOD TO HAVE:

• Experience working with APIs
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Proficiency with Javascript and Javascript frameworks
• A few years of proven web development experience
• An eye for detail and solid communication skills

Magento Developer - Web Developer

Our team manages many sites with a focus on Skiershop.com. Skiershop.com has been online for more than 11 years and is growing rapidly. We are a group of avid wintersports enthusiasts who are always looking to push the limits in the ecommerce industry while having fun. We welcome creativity as well as bulletproof technical skills and expect our developers to have high levels of both.

We are looking for a Magento magician or overall developer who is ready to hit the ground running and who shares our passion to be innovative and push limits. We need someone who is capable of taking hold of a project and seeing it through to completion while brainstorming the next project to make our site awesome.

Initial duties will involve programming customizations to our existing Magento platform, installing and customizing extensions/modules, troubleshooting errors, cleaning up the site, optimizing site performance, connecting sister sites, and working with a team to brainstorm the next cool projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive, proven experience with Magento
• Fluent with PHP5/PHP web applications, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript/JQuery
• Experience setting up development servers
• Knowledge of integrating web-based applications with offline workflows (i.e. POS systems, print and fulfillment/shipping systems, accounting systems)
• Experience connecting payment systems
• MUST be flexible to travel up to two weeks each month (especially during winter months)
